Watching Missy get so excited over her birthday cake yesterday made all the work I put into making the cake worth it! She just LOVED the sparkler 7 in the center of her cake, this definitely makes me smile
What makes you happy this week?
Well, seeing as I’ve only highlighted one designer that I’ve worked with recently, this week I’m going to feature Laurie of Laurie’s Scraps. I started working with Laurie back in May – her team was one of the first ones I applied for when I got done with school for the summer. Laurie is super sweet and recently we have gotten to know each other a little better and found that we’ve lived about an hour apart, TWICE, in TWO different countries!! How weird is that?? Seriously, she lived just out side of Northampton (England) -where I grew up until 96 and then she also lived just outside of Orlando! How funny is that! It really goes to show how small the world can be! Not only have we lived in England and the US, but we are also both CRAZY about Disney. Recently Laurie’s kits have been Disney inspired and I just LOVE them!
Okay, enough about that and onto Laurie’s super cute scrapbooking kits. The first one is Laurie’s newest release “Toy Chest” - which you’ve guessed it is Toy Story themed. I couldn’t stop using this kit! Not only did I create one page with it, but TWO and I could still use it over and over again. I don’t think I’ve really used half of this kit on my pages – it just means I’ll have to use it again!

WOWZERS!! Cute right? I just loved working with this, now we have to go back to Disney and find the other Toy Story Characters, so I can come back and use this kit again. So here’s what I did with this super cute, fun kit.

Now you can see why I like LOVE this kit so much. I’ve had so much fun working with it and I can’t wait to use it again.
This isn’t the only kit of Laurie’s that I’ve loved working with. Another one of my favorite kits that I’ve gotten to work with is “Monsters in my Closet” which is a Monster’s Inc. themed kit – Monster’s Inc is one of my favorite movies, so of course, this would be a kit that I LOVE!

Isn’t it cute? I’ve used this kit twice and could probably scrap with it even more! I just love how cute the little monsters in the kit are. Here’s what I did with this..

I could seriously go on and on about all of the super cute kits that Laurie’s created and I’ve worked with, I just love her stuff and I’m really glad I applied for her team!Laurie also has her own message board where she hosts several scrapbook challenges – a template challenge, font challenge, layout challenge and soon there will be some speed scraps too, so be sure to check it out, as well as her store and blog (she posts freebies and some other great stuff on there too!)
So now I’ll leave ya with a little more eye candy from the pages that I’ve created her kits and templates that I’ve worked with since May – ENJOY!

And what could be more fun than me showing off my latest Creative Team??

I’m SO excited to be a member of Chelle’s Creative Team. I will not be adding any more teams to my list or spreadsheet (if you know me.. you’ll understand why that’s funny!) With school less than a month away – I know.. I can’t believe it either!
Chelle’s Creations are sold at Scrap Matters and for the month of July she is guesting over at The Digi Chick. Make sure to stop by and check out her SUPER cute stuff in her stores, or swing by Chelle’s blog to check out what the other girls on the team are doing with her products, and maybe even pick up a freebie or two!
Now I’m off to get ready to see Michaela’s end of VBS performance! Have a great day and make it a FUN FRIDAY!!
I almost forgot my happiness project post this week – being sick doesn’t help my already over active brain! At least I remembered this morning when I started to look for a photo!
So, here’s my happiness project photo this week..

Missy was being extra thoughtful the other day and wanted to make Little Man some flash cards of the alphabet (this was all her idea) and so she spent the afternoon drawing and making these cute cards using my note cards for school – they need some use right? Once she was finished she came and showed me what she had done. All of them were super cute and what you would expect to find for each letter – sure some were pretty obvious C is for Cat etc.. when I got to Q, I saw this.I have to be honest, I had absolutely no idea what this was. When I asked I was told “that’s a finger” – I still didn’t get it. Then Missy explained that the “blob” that I thought was there was in fact lips, and the finger was up to the lips saying “Shh!” She had Q is for Quiet. After I could pick out what it was, I couldn’t believe how well she’d drawn that finger! The “circle” on it, is the knuckle. Even looking at this picture while I type up the blog post makes me giggle. She’s so creative – it’s definitely not something I would’ve thought of that began with Q let alone draw it!
Want to join me in the happiness project?? Head on over to Leigh’s blog and check out how to play a long!
